Accessibility

We want to host a conference that is open and accessible for everyone. Therefore we want to inform you about accessibility at our venue Kulturbrauerei, accessible travel to and in Berlin, as well as other accessibility accommodations of our event.

Accessibility when arriving in Berlin.

Berlin Central Station.
The building is wheelchair-accessible, equipped with systems to guide blind people and its elevators have voice announcements, a service set up in close cooperation with the General Federation of Blind and Visually Impaired People in Berlin. The other main-line train stations in Berlin, such as Südkreuz and Ostbahnhof, are also accessible. You can find more information about accessible travel with Deutsche Bahn on their website or you can reach out to their Mobility Service Centre directly via mail or telephone at +49 30 65212888.

Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BER)
Note that BER is the only remaining international airport in Berlin. It is located partly on the premises of the old Schönefeld Airport (SXF), which has been integrated into BER. Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) has been closed completely.

Berlin Airport is largely barrier-free. Accessible parking spaces and restrooms are available. You can find out more about accessibility at the airport on their website

We also recommend that those requiring special assistance or support should also please inform their airline at least 48 hours in advance.

Accessible public transport to the conference venue

Our venue Kulturbrauerei Berlin is located between U2 Eberswalder Straße and U2 Senefelderplatz. Both stations have elevators and are therefore accessible to walking impaired people. You can also reach Kulturbrauerei by Tram12, M10 and M1, stopping at Eberswalder Straße which are all accessible low-floor trams. Also, all night buses are accessible for walking impaired persons.
